I seemingly have many of my building blocks in place. However, while laying in bed thinking about what I can do since I do not have to work for a good handful of days, my mental list incited an overwhelming sense of anxiety and disappointment.
This will not do and I must find a way to will myself to keep working hard. Perhaps harder than before. Now, post-baccalaureate, there is no longer a structure. My success won't be monitored on an interval reinforcement schedule for awhile.
So what needs to be done?
-Exit counseling for student loans.
-Study for the GRE
-Sign up to take the GRE
-Research which programs to apply for.
-Research and write summary for TI/polyvagal theory
-Check in on Insular Cortex work.
Today, I can work on the literature review for Sapana's paper. With breaks to clean the house and continue to decorate the walls.
I must keep moving forward and fighting the desire to lay down as life passes me by.
Dear Diary,
